Arles is home to a formidable variety of actors, be they individuals or public or private associations, who work year-round to make the city beam on the cultural scene. Around 200 artists (painters, sculptors, photographers, designers . . .) have chosen Arles for their studios. Numerous public exposition halls (Chapelle Sainte Anne, Espace Van Gogh, Chapelle des Trinitaires) and the Réattu Museum open their rooms to contemporary art.

Between tradition and modernism, Arles offers an eclectic cultural palette of choices to visitors over the different seasons : expositions, concerts, theatre, literary readings, studio visits, etc.
