Arles is home to

Theatre is also part of Arlesian cultural life with two venues for plays, the théâtre d’Arles and the théâtre de la Calade.

Other cultural events include the traditional festivals of Arles, (www.reinedarles.com) the Easter bullfighting Feria, the International Photography Festival created by Lucien Clergue, and including photo seminars and expositions, the Voies Off Festival, the nude photo festival, the music festival « Les Suds à Arles »,  the peplum epic film festival, the liric forum, the harp festival, the summer school of the radio, the Escales of the night cargo boat, the Arelate festival, the International Santonniers' salon (more information). These are some of the activities that make the city vibrate from January to December.
